Basic Itinerary:

There are many things to do both on and off board the ship. There will be some things we do all together as a group and some that we will break into smaller groups to do as everyone's interests dictate.

The rules you operate under on the trip are the same ones you operate under here in Kansas City. If you are not of age to do things here, you are not allowed to do them on the ship. Please keep this in mind for the various shore excursions and ship activities that you are considering participating in.

Keep in mind you will need a passport card.

Sunday, March 28

• Meet at KCI Airport at 9:30 a.m.
• Flight Information:
  • Depart KCI at 11:40 a.m. on flight #703 on Southwest Airlines (stops in Oklahoma City, OK with no plane change)
  • Arrive in Houston [Hobby (HOA)], TX at 2:35 p.m.
  • Depart Houston at 4:25 p.m. on flight #35 on Southwest Airlines
  • Arrive in New Orleans, LA at 5:25 p.m.
• Hotel Information: Holiday Inn Express Downtown French Quarter (map | website)
• Dinner on your own at TBA
• Preservational Hall Concert at 8:00pm (ticket included)

Monday, March 29

• Wake up call at TBA
• Tour French Quarter
• Tour University of New Orleans' Department of Music
• Board Carnival Triumph
• Dinner together in the dining room (required)

Tuesday, March 30

• Day at Sea - have fun, but not too much fun.
• Dinner together in the dining room (required)

Wednesday, March 31

• Port of Progresso, Yucatan, Mexico at 7:00am
• Shore excursions are available, but are not included in the trip price. There are many to choose from as well as many things to do that don't cost extra.
• Back on the ship by 3:30pm
• Dinner together in the dining room (required)

Thursday, April 1

• Port of Cozumel, Mexico at 9:00am
• Shore excursions are available, but are not included in the trip price. There are many to choose from as well as many things to do that don't cost extra.
• Back on the ship by 4:30pm
• Dinner together in the dining room (required)

Friday, April 2

• Day at Sea - have fun, but not too much fun.

Saturday, April 3

• Dock and disembark in New Orleans
• Flight home:
  • Depart New Orleans at 11:25 a.m. on flight #1827 on Southwest Airlines
  • Arrive in Dallas, TX (Love Field) at 12:55 p.m.
  • Depart Dallas at 3:35 p.m. on flight #1588 on Southwest Airlines
  • Arrive in Kansas City at 5:00 p.m.
