Cruise - Things to Remember

We understand many have not cruised before.  Here are some things to remember.

This page will be updated as more information specific to this cruise becomes available.

Packing 

• Travel nowadays means packing to avoid check-in baggage fees.
• While sandals or flip-flops might be your desire for on board the ship, have a good pair of walking shoes for our ports of call.
• We are having dinner together every night on board the ship. Attire is business-casual.  No shorts or jeans at dinner.  There will be one dinner that is formal.  While Mr. Martz & Mr. Bata are usually in their tuxedos for this evening, men are expected to have a tie at minimum with the women dressing in an equivalent fashion.
• Pay attention to the projected weather.  You might need to pack a poncho or umbrella.
• Remember any sun protection items you might need.  Think of July in Kansas City.

Money

• All food on the ship is paid for.  Food in New Orleans, at the airports, and at the ports of call is not. During the ports of call, it is possible to get back on the ship for lunch, but that cuts into your time.  It also becomes impossible if you are participating in a shore excursion.  Shore excursions often provide a lunch.  This will be listed in the description when you purchase it.
• Shore excursions are extra.  They run anywhere from $40 on up.  These are not required, but are often very interesting and fun.  You can purchase these once we have our cruise confirmation number.

In order to make payments, you will need a PayPal account.

Just add the items you want and it will let you create an account if you need to.
