All-District Rehearsal & Performance
NO RESCHEDULE!!
The All-District Rehearsals & Performance for Friday & Saturday, January 8th & 9th have been canceled and will not be made up. This is for both the band & the orchestra.
Programs for the canceled event will be sent to the school for your portfolios and records.
2010 Early Rehearsals
Our first performance is scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 2010. We have been
requested to perform at the opening Convocation Ceremonies at the Music Hall. We will
be performing for all the important people and various dignitaries. We will be leaving
from Lincoln at 7:30 am.
We need to check out all instruments and uniforms prior to this date and prepare several
requested pieces. To help facilitate this, we are distributing the instrument and uniform
contracts along with this notification.
Next week, we will begin preparation. We do expect all enrolled band members in
attendance. We are scheduling the rehearsals around all the "known" athletic practices.
Rehearsals next week:
Monday through Friday, August 16-20, 12:30-2:00 pm
The rehearsals on August 23-25 will be announced when we receive our schedules for the
week.
Instruments will be checked out from 10:00-12:00 on Monday, August 16.
Uniforms will be checked out:
Tuesday, 10:00-12:00, after 2:00, Seniors/Juniors
Wednesday, 10:00-12:00, after 2:00, Sophomores
Thursday, 10:00-12:00, after 2:00, Freshman, Females
Friday, 10:00-12:00, after 2:00, Freshman, Males
Important:
- You must have your signed instrument/uniform contracts and fees with you.
- Make all checks/money orders out to LCPA Bands. You only need to write one check. If you need to write a postdated check, please inform us when you give it to us. Cash is always preferred.
- Those who already have turned in an instrument contract at the end of last school year, only need to turn in a uniform contract.
- We have a limited number of black socks. If you need black socks, add three dollars to the uniform fee.

Dear World Travelers,
We have received much of the information you have been requesting concerning our excursion to the Asian continent. Here you will find information regarding luggage, what to put in it, weather, money and communication. I believe I have addressed most of the questions I remember. This information is also posted on our main website (not the China website). Click on the “China” link to the left.
This coming Tuesday, February 15th, we will have a meeting about China to discuss any questions you may have beyond what is here. The meeting is not required and will be at the normal 6:30 pm time in the band room.
If you have any other questions, please send them to me by email so I can have the most accurate answer ready for our meeting on Tuesday.
Also coming with this information is a health form for each traveler. Please have them completed by the meeting. If you cannot attend, please send them with your student by Tuesday.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not travel to NWMSU to perform in the parade competition.
